YeeHaw... or something...

Stampede is here in all it's cowboy boot-wearing, sasparilla-drinking, horse-riding, cousin-fucking glory... I say again - yee-fuckin'-haw!

Man, the fucking parade was NUTS(!) it impeaded my arival at the office with the vim and vigor of a 26oz hangover. Brutal. But, with stampede comes 10 days of no-excuse-required drinking, the influx of a couple hundred thousand women(who, incidentally, have no Idea of my reputation), and of course... Mans ultimate achievement over animal - CHUCKWAGON RACING!!!! Never has a more exciting misstreatment of our animal cousins graced the face of this blue planet. Just fucking fantastic!

So, as we head into the first weekend of the 2002 stampede, I say to you all... "Look the fuck out! Jonny's goin' drinkin'!!!"

Apparently, we are going to "Ranahans" at the stampede grounds... Not sure what the hell that is, but it is supposed to be pretty swanky... Anyway...

What a crazy weekend...

Went out with Shane on Saturday night... Met these two chicks, Tamara and Lisa... Interesting... we actually met them about a month or so ago at Morgans pub... we were sitting around, getting pissed and playing "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon (More on that game later). Somehow this game ALWAYS attracts people. Anyhow, we exchanged hellos an some polite conversation and that was that. They came to our little pub on Sat. and we ended up going back to there place for Sangria at like 2:30 am... stayed till like 4:30, then I had to bolt (due in Banff by 9:00 am ya know...) Hopefully we will hook up next weekend...

Wow... Why the hell did I type that?

So, I am just killing the next 20 min. till I can GO THE FUCK HOME!!! Yay.

Went to the New Media conf. in beautifull Banff, Alberta. I was lucky enough to meet Meg (one of the founders of Blogger) and even got to sit on a panel with her... figures though, I did not get a chance to speak to her... oh well, maybe next time...

Anyway, I decided what the fuck... I should start a blog... So, join me now as I depart on a somewhat surreal journey through the more warped regions of my brain...
